Join us for a celebration of the 2019 farming season!
There will be farm tours, gourd decorating, veggie tattoos, a bean bag tournament, and apple cider pressing as well as a build-your-own caramel apple bar and Chili Cook Off Competition with three entries in each of the following categories:
Bring your own beverages, a lawn blanket or chair for lingering, and yard games if you feel like it. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up to bring a chili for the competition. Otherwise just bring your favorite chili fixings to share (cornbread, biscuits, sweet corn, noodles, sour cream, cheese, fritos, etc).
Core group member Ann DeGarmo will lead an advocacy table related to our CSA’s climate change challenge).
Friends and neighboring farmers will also bring meat, eggs, jams, jellies, pickles and other items not available through our add-on offerings so bring your cooler and your checkbook!
