Eating locally year-round is not as difficult as it may seem. Join culinarian Jen Wiedel of The Grove Market and Blackhawk Technical College alongside farmer Lauren as they demonstrate techniques to easily fabricate produce for use in colder months. This workshop will include a taste of some holiday favorites as well as some contemporary creations using preserved ingredients.
